Today, My Legacy submitted its pre-budget 2023 proposals to Government in relation to legacy giving in Ireland; to promote and incentivise this growing form of philanthropy in Ireland. Legacy gifts provide sustainable, shock-proof revenue for charities; whilst enabling a shared path to a more equal Irish society. There is currently no prompt or incentive other than admirable personal motivations for someone to leave a legacy gift to charity in Ireland.
